Kia is an independent consultant specializing in organizational development and training initiatives for improved organizational performance. She is a licensed nurse and has a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has worked predominantly with healthcare and government agencies providing strategic solutions for change management, human/organizational performance improvement, process improvement, leadership development, employee motivation and retention. Kia has directed, managed, designed and delivered training programs and organizational development initiatives that have directly and positively impacted organizational goals and the bottom line.

Founder and principal of Migliore Consulting, Kathryn works with organizations to produce measurable results and real change by connecting individual performance with organizational strategy through leadership development programs and management coaching initiatives. She designs and implements a variety of organizational effectiveness interventions, partners with workgroups and executive teams, and aids in system-wide change. She has over 10 years experience with both private and public sector consulting engagements in a variety of industries and has held previous consulting positions with J.D. Alisa A. Shorago, JD is an accomplished and dynamic trainer. (She is also an attorney with over 15 years' experience in litigation.) Through her company, Shorago Training Services, she provides entertaining and affordable training in the areas of sexual harassment prevention and business writing, presenting, and communication skills. She has led trainings for companies, including a Fortune 50 company, in diverse industries. Gaby holds a BA in Business Administration and an MBA in Organizational Development, she is currently preparing for the CPLP certification through ASTD. Gaby has over 10 years of experience within training and development.She current works for USE Credit Union as the Training and Development Manager, her primary focus is training design, development and implementation. The training programs she oversees include operations, lending, customer service, compliance and sales for employees in the corporate office departments, call center and 10 branches. Prior to this role, Gaby was the Training and Development Manger for the United Airlines Reservations center in Mexico City.

Jeff Toister, CPLP, PHR has been leading training sessions on leadership, supervisory skills, and customer service for more than 15 years. His company, Toister Performance Solutions, helps clients improve customer service and employee performance. Jeff started his training career in 1994 while running a nonprofit organization and continues to work closely with several nonprofits today. Marjorie first became interested in training while working part-time in college. A new co-worker told her that her explanation made sense in a way others had not. This launched Marjorie into a career in training facilitation and instructional design. She has experience in variety of industries including telecom, finance, medical, entertainment, and government. She has a Masters degree in Speech Communication from LSU and in Educational Technology from SDSU. She currently works for a local medical device manufacturer as a Sr. Instructional Designer. Her goals as Marketing & Funding Director are to find new, innovative and effective means for communicating to our members and the community.

Jill Macinko, MHR has over 10 years experience in training, program development, management and communications. Her expertise is in curriculum design, adult learning theory, and facilitation. She has successfully partnered with key decision makers to identify organizational training needs, created customized workshops for government, non-profit and healthcare organizations, facilitated over 3,000 hours of life skills training, improved employee performance and sense of self-worth, and improved customer satisfaction. Jill has also implemented systems change, inspired and motivated staff and designed print and multimedia materials. She earned her Masters of Arts (Human Relations) from the University of Oklahoma.

Mona M. Melanson, SPHR started Aviso HR Associates, LLC after working in corporate human resources management in diverse industries for over 20 years. Rebecca Everett, MS, is the author of Marketing Me and How to Be CEO of Your Own Life: Discovering who you are and what you’re meant to do. An authority in adult learning and instructional design, she’s known for her clarity and insight for designing interventions to enhance organizational performance. Ms. Everett’s career experience includes co-ownership of a computer firm and marriage and family therapist. Rebecca is a member of the National Speakers Association and ASTD. She holds a degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg College and an MS in Counseling from San Diego State University.

Rebecca Gibson has over 15 years experience working with clients to address their toughest performance challenges, with a special focus in knowledge- and skill-building for call center executives, managers, supervisors and agents. In 2007, Rebecca started her own learning and performance consulting group that aspires to help organizations bring out the best in their employees. She is (cross your fingers!) almost finished with Educational Technology master’s program at San Diego State University, is a contributing author to many publications and the current editor of ASTD-San Diego's Chapter Newsletter, Training Trends.

Catherine Mattice is a subject matter expert in the area of workplace bullying. She offers training and consulting focused on effective interpersonal communication skills, organizational communication processes and documentation, and civil work environments. She has appeared on major news stations several times as a workplace civility expert, has presented her research internationally, and has published in several local newspapers and national magazines. She received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Organizational Communication from San Diego State University, is an adjunct lecturer at National University and ITT Technical Institute, and regularly teaches public speaking at the United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot.
