Third Annual San Diego Survey of Workplace Learning Trends

Take the Survey Now 

The purpose of this San Diego Survey is to gather and analyze local data on significant trends for workplace learning practices and investments. Our local results will be compared with data from ASTD’s national survey at the February 24^th ASTD-SD Chapter meeting.  We encourage non-members to also participate as we want to include valuable input from those in an HR or management role who conduct training or make decisions about training. Consultants may participate if they answer for one of their major clients. Complete the survey and enter a drawing for one of three free passes an ASTD chapter monthly meeting!

This brief 23 question anonymous survey should take 10 minutes to complete. 

We will be accepting survey responses through February 15th then announcing results at our February Chapter Meeting

Where’s My Bucket? How to tap into state and federal funding and stretch your training budget!

In many organizations today if training is not a customer or regulatory requirement it likely won’t happen. As you know it is difficult at best to demonstrate training’s return on investment and even if you can, the costs are still “fronted”. An alternative to hoping for a training budget, is to create one yourself. This can be done through State and Federal funding. There are “buckets” of money available for training, if you know how to identify and tap into them.
