Chapter Luncheon Meeting—December 2 at the Crown Plaza Hotel

Does it seem to you as if every Blog, Tweet, ezine, business periodical, or corporate directive seems to emphasize the need to change? This can be bad or good news, it all depends on the reason(s) for the change, doesn’t it? Speaking of change, it’s been a tough year for many of us, hasn’t it? By now, are you getting tired of hearing bad news? Wouldn’t you like to hear some good news for a change? Better yet, how would you like to hear some good news about change for a change? Then join us for lunch on December 2 at a new temporary ASTD-SD meeting location, the Crown Plaza Hotel at 2270 Hotel Circle North, not far from our customary meeting place.

Chapter Luncheon Meeting - January 27th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel

We’re all familiar with “WIIFM - What’s In It For Me”.  But what about “WIIFE - What’s In It For Everyone”, at the Individual, Group and Organizational level?  Meeting the organizational challenges of 2010 will take solutions that can deliver far-reaching, high-impact benefits. Wouldn’t it be great to jump into 2010 with a dynamic learning and problem-solving process for executives and managers that has a proven track record of success?

At the January 27th Chapter Luncheon meeting, our lead program features Gloria Bader, Ed.D., president  and founder of The Bader Group, speaking on  the dynamic process of Action Learning.  Sometimes referred to as Learning Networks or Peer Coaching, Action Learning is a Best Practice for organization and management development.  Gloria will present a case study of her Action Learning work with State Farm, a multi-billion dollar insurance and financial services organization, focused on the development of high potential directors.  Joining Gloria are Seth Bork, State Farm Agency Field Executive and Steve Hansen, Associate Consultant with The Bader Group.
